Haut Val de Bagnes

The high Val di Bagnes is a wooded and unspoilt valley where many walks and hikes can make you discover places and villages. In these small paradise corners it will be possible to breathe the real Swiss Alpine landscape and taste the typical products of the area.

Martigny and Verbier Golf Club

A few golf clubs are present in Martigny. Alternatively, located at 1600 msl, the Verbier Golf Club offers two fields, each with 18 holes. It has been built on the mountain flanks and the golf players will be able to admire the Alpine stunning panoramas with views over the Combins and the Mont Blanc.

Bike lovers will be able to find the best path and bike according to their needs. The paths and slopes will allow you to enjoy the mountain silence and live the emotions which only the mountain can offer. 


THINGS TO DO IN MARTIGNY


Pierre Gianadda Foundation

The Fondation Pierre Gianadda must be visited for a couple of hours at least. Located in Martigny, the Fondation is the main cultural centre of the city. It hosts the Gallo-Roman museum, the automotive museum and two expositions each year by internationally renowned artists. The building has been obtained from an old Gallo-Roman temple. Mont-Blanc Express: Martigny – Châtelard

A tourism journey on the Mont Blanc Express is a unique experience. The train leaves from Martigny in the Valais and, through the unspoilt gorges of the Trient, goes up between clear waters and deep canyons towards Chamonix often on panoramic carriages. The Chamonix-Chatelard single-track railway connects the Martigny station in the Rhone Valley in Switzerland with the French border and La Chatelard village. You will be projected towards the discovery of small Swiss Alpine villages which have kept their unique charme unchanged.
